I had issues with my residential elevator. The company that installed the elevator wouldn't commit to fixing it even though I had a service contract with them. I panicked, as I thought I had to have the company that installed the elevator, fix it and I had no other options. My existing company said the elevator broke due to over use.

To make matters even worse, my wife was injured and couldn't use our stairs without extreme pain. I emailed every elevator company that serviced our area. I got an immediate reply from Jason and his wife, Jennifer, offering to visit on Monday to check things out for me. I was shocked how concerned they were about my wife's health.

They arrived on Monday promptly on time. Gave me a price to complete the repairs that was 1/3 the price quoted by the company that installed the elevator, with a promise to do the repairs as soon as the parts arrived, which was a week later. They said that the elevator broke not due to overuse, but rather due to poor work done by the prior company, and said these elevators are bullet proof if installed and serviced properly.

One week later, they arrived, and fixed the elevator. Even though it took longer than quoted, they held the price quoted, even though I insisted on paying the actual hours. When the bill arrived, it was for the initial quote, not the actual hours.

I moved my service contract to Idaho Custom Lifts & Elevators, which was a no-brainer as it is cancelable by me whenever I want, no long term contracts.

I compared Idaho Custom Lifts & Elevators to all the other providers. By far, they were not only the least expensive, but the best and only one willing to commit to a fair price and timeframe to fix it. Initially, I was a bit concerned that they were a small company and wouldn't be able to address my issues as they came up, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Idaho Custom Elevators has done a great job of repairing and maintaining the elevator in our building. Another company installed the elevator, but Jason has spent a good deal of time repairing and bringing it to a functional state. I really appreciate his honest and reliable work.
